Our high cost of living makes it challenging for middle class locals to thrive, especially with the increase in housing prices and the large number of second-home owners. This is a true crisis in Colorado. We need legislation that supports affordable housing and economic policy that benefits everyone.
SB23-001: Allows and incentivizes public-private partnerships to develop affordable housing on unused state land.
HB23-1112: Increases earned income and child tax credits, returning over $170 million more to hardworking families and helps ensure our tax code works for all Coloradans.
HB23-1091: Extends child care contribution tax credit to incentivize charitable donations to child care providers and training programs.
SB23-303: Refers a measure directly to the ballot to reduce property taxes for homeowners and businesses who are being hit with drastic property tax spikes. If voters approve Proposition HH in November 2023, the measure will deliver immediate savings and provide sustainable, long-term reductions to property tax rates.
