Protecting our Beautiful Environment
Climate change is an existential threat, both to our environment and our economy, making this a top priority for me. I am fortunate to have grown up in Colorado, the most beautiful state in the union, and therefore I am dedicated to maintaining our beautiful public lands and addressing climate threats. Coloradans are seeing the threats of climate change on a daily basis, and I have proudly sponsored and supported bold, action-oriented climate policy in the state legislature that supports local economies. In order to maintain our amazing Colorado culture, it is essential that we combat climate change.

HB24-1362: Measures to Incentivize Graywater Use
This bipartisan law encourages and supports water conservation efforts through utilizing graywater in new residential builds.
SB24-197: Water Conservation Measures
This bipartisan law protects Colorado’s water supply by implementing well-informed improvements to our drought protection systems.
HB24-1379: Regulate Dredge & Fill
Restores critical protections for Colorado’s streams, rivers, and wetlands. It creates a program to protect our critical water resources from construction impacts, drawing from effective federal practices but tailored to Colorado's needs.
HB24-1435: Colorado Water Conservation Board Projects
This bipartisan law funds Colorado’s water conservation projects, seeking to maintain our water for the years to come.

Streamlines the process of accessing solar electricity to build more community solar gardens and save Coloradans money.
